Something I absolutely love…chicken tikka!
The smell of it cooking on the bbq is enough to lure you in, watch out though your neighbors will be inviting themselves over for dinner!
Banana Bread
This is the only banana bread recipe I ever use, have been making it since I was a teen! I love it so much that I feel no need to try another recipe! I love adding chocolate chips, got the idea from my Aunt Rosie…she always added chocolate chips in her banana bread. To make it extra special I sometimes sprinkle mini chocolate chips on the top of batter.
Meatloaf with Sweet Potato Mash
When I was a kid something I heard about but never tried was meatloaf, either from t.v. or from the kids at school. I always got the notion that meatloaf wasn’t that great from the reaction I would see, when the mom would tell the kids that’s what was for dinner, but that didn’t stop me from wanting me to try it. This recipe really is moist and delicious, I always get asked for it, when meatloaf tastes this good, it actually gets requested for dinner.
Sunflower Cake
With summer around the corner one cant help to think of summer flowers, particularly sunflowers. One of my moms favourite flowers! They remind her of her favourite movie Dr. Zhivago, so I was inspired to make her a sunflower cake!

Princess Castle Cake
This was my 2nd attempt for a castle cake, I was aiming for a different look, something more simpler, and easy to assemble.
