I like to make these on days when I am rushed, or if I am having friends over for brunch, it’s quick, easy and yummy!
Using ready to bake crescent rolls just makes it so easy, all you have to do is make the filling!
If you want to make homemade version follow this link for pogaca.
I only use Macedonia style feta cheese, it is creamy and easy to work with when you make bureks or finger foods like this. I like the texture of it, and grew up with it, you can use any kind of feta you like.
I like to fill these with cream cheese as well, you can combine the feta with cream cheese, without herbs and use that as your filling.
What you will need:
- 1 -2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
- feta cheese
- parsley or dill or both (optional)
Break up some feta cheese, and make it almost paste like. Add finely chopped herbs if desired.
Roll out dough on baking sheet that is lined with parchment paper. Add just a about a teaspoon of feta to each roll. Roll up and bake as directed on package.
Enjoy!
