Made this mango trifle to take along with me to a dinner party, its so easy to make and yummy to eat:)

 What you will need:

  • 2- 85 g  pkgs of mango flavored gelatin
  • 1 can 28 fl oz drained fruit cocktail
  • 750ml  canned mango pulp or homemade mango pulp
  • 1 L cool whip or whipped cream

You will need 2 cups hot boiling water, whisk together with gelatin for 2 mins, then whisk in 9 ice cubes or  1 and 1/2 cups ice cold water in a large bowl, if using icing cubes stir till ice cubes melt.

In a 13×9 glass pan grease pan with oil, pour gelatin in pan leave in fridge till set, takes 2-3 hours.

Meanwhile in a large bowl mix together mango pulp and whip cream, whisk together gently till well blended.  Store in fridge till ready to use.

When gelatin has set, cut into cubes.

Take a trifle bowl and lay a layer of mango/whip cream mixture, then spoon half the amount of fruit, layer with some gelatin cubes, and repeat till last layer is gelatin.

I piped the edges of bowl with some of the mango mixture.

Keep refrigerated until ready to serve
