Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

I first made these cookies when I was newly married, my in-laws asked my hubby where we got them, when my hubby told them I made them….I knew that I was indeed a baker, or that at least I had it in me!;) Since then I have added many more recipes to my collection, but this one is the best peanut butter cookie I have ever made!
If you like soft cookies take the cookies out of the oven just when they are lightly browned on the bottom, but light and rounded on the top, they will flatten out in a minute on the cookie tray, then you can transfer onto cooling wrack. If you want a crispy cookie allow to bake an extra minute or two. This recipe makes soft cookie fans and crispy cookie fans happy…its a win win situation!
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
What you will need:
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup softened unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cream peanut butter and butter in large mixing bowl. Beat in sugars and eggs, combine flour with baking soda stir into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet (lined with parchment). Bake at 350 for 10-11 mins, makes about 4 dozen.

  1. thank you very much for the wonderful recipe, it was a hit @ our house. Even though I didn't want anybody else to eat those but I guess I was being generous, lol. I'll make them soon I have chunky PB but smooth is almost done, gotta buy ASAP. Thanx again.

And you were right about yourself you are not only a baker you are the best I have ever met maashaAllah & you always have been an inspiration to me & most of all you are a true & honest friend I cal ever wish for. You did a great job. If I were your MIL I would ask you to make them everyday, lol. Enjoy the comment but it's true I have tasted PB cookies a hundred times but I just fell in love with your PB cookies.

  4. I just have a question, do I melt the butter or it has to be @ room temp. I was thinking to make it tonight, if I hear from you tonight I'll go ahead & make them tonight. Otherwise I can wait till tomorrow. Thanx in advance.
