Pie Crust

This a tutorial for making a pie crust! Hope you enjoy!

For the pie crust:

  • 3 tbsp butter cut into small squares
  • 3 tbsp shortening
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2-3 tbsp cold water

With your hand or 2 knifes or that pastry cutter used for making pie dough(or just use your hands.

Break up the butter, shortening with flour till gets like crumbly, and butter and shortening have blended well with flour. Add water work into dough. Take a piece of wax paper flour the surface of it, roll dough big enough to cover pan shape.

Flour the dough fold over , sprinkle flour again and fold over again. Place in pie pan, and unfold, its just a tip, its easy to get the pie crust into the pan.
