Pumpkin Monkey Bread

Sunday, October 2nd, 2011 | 2 Comments

I love monkey bread, and with it being pumpkin season I wanted to make something other than the same old pumpkin pie!

I was on my FB and asked if pumpkin cinnamon rolls was a good idea, when Jenna newlyweds-blog  posted her recipe as a suggestion!

I followed it for the most part, I did change a few things, I used all purpose flour, and I made it into monkey bread, hers is a pull apart in a loaf pan.

For the filling I used pumpkin pie spice instead of the cinnamon and nutmeg, for the icing I used vanilla. You can add cinnamon to the pumpkin spice if you like.

For recipe go to: pull-apart-pumpkin-cinnamon-bread/

She has step by step photo’s and the full instructions on how to make it! :)

I have step by step photo’s of my monkey bread,

Dough on floured surface

Spread brown sugar on dough

Cut inch slices and then cut into squares

Add squares to greased bundt pan

Wait till doubles in size takes about 15 minutes

This is how it looks when you take it out of the oven

Flip upside down on to serving plate

Ice with frosting, serve warm
