Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Not sure why my kids don’t like brussel sprouts, when they were little I used to call them baby cabbage…then they heard that they’re called brussel sprouts and that was it! They didn’t want to eat them anymore! I hope that phase will end and they will soon come around!:)

What you will need:

  • Brussel sprouts
  • 1/2 head of garlic
  • Salt to season
  • Olive oil

Rinse brussel sprouts, peel outer leaves and discard. What I like to do is boil the brussel sprouts first just till the water comes to boil ( I season with salt) , you can skip this step…its just my personal preference.

Peel and cut 4-5 cloves of garlic and combine with brussel sprouts and olive oil in a baking sheet, sprinkle with Kosher salt and bake at 350 till nicely browned. Baking time can be anywhere from 1/2 hour to 45 minutes.

Remove from pan and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and a splash of vinegar to liven the flavours. Enjoy:)
