I finally did it! I took the time to properly measure the ingredients and wrote it out for you all! We love cinnamon rolls! One of my earliest memories is my mom baking cinnamon rolls, she learned to make them as a kid in Sweden. She would add raisins and sometimes walnuts in the filling. The thing is as I mentioned in a another post is that they would become dry quickly…it took some experimenting till I found the secret to making them soft!

Halva is a well known dessert in the Balkans and in the Mid East…..but they are different. Every culture has their own traditional ways of making it. They are smaller than the regular pumpkins you see at the grocery store….those ones are mostly used for Jack O’ lanterns. I will be sharing with you how to prepare a pumpkin! You can use pumpkin puree in anything you would use canned pumpkin in!

I cleaned out the seeds and separated them from the flesh of the pumpkin, I clean them by giving them a rinse. I then let it soak for 10 mins in salted water. I then drain and dry with paper towel. I heat the oven to 375 and grease a cookie sheet, lay the seeds and sprinkle with kosher salt. bake in oven for approx 20 mins till seeds get dry and crisp.
Mmmmmm….pumpkin pancakes…how do I describe them!? It’s like pumpkin pie with out the crust! With a bit a butter and maple syrup these babies are gold!
