Looking for a easy and light tasting dessert? I got the perfect thing for you!
Tiramisu in a loaf pan, comes out looking so perfect, this is my favourite dessert to make when I have guests over. It looks nice when sliced up and served. This recipe is for two trifles, if you want to make one split the recipe in half.
I usually make two and one is never enough haha!
What you will need:
- Package of lady fingers
- 2 to 3 cups coffee (that has cooled down)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 pkg softened cream cheese
- 1 pkg instant vanilla pudding
- 1 and 1/2 cups milk
- half a tub of cool whip or sweetened whipped cream
- cocoa or chocolate shavings for garnish
In the mixing bowl, whisk the cream cheese and sugar together until it is creamy. Add in the pudding mix and milk, whisk until fluffy. Add in 2 to 3 heaping tablespoons of cool whip or whipping cream that has already been whipped.
Line 2 loaf pans with plastic wrap, lay 2 pieces across each other for easy removal of the tiramisu.
Pour coffee in a bowl and dip the lady fingers in the coffee to lightly soak them, soaking both sides. Lay the first layer of cookies in the pan, then spoon some filling over, top with soaked cookies again and repeat and end with cookies, makes 3 layers of lady fingers and 2 layers of filling.
Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
Flip the pan over to serving dish, and remove the plastic wrap, top with cool whip or whipping cream, garnish with cocoa, chocolate shavings or ganache. Enjoy!
If you want to add other flavours, you can add nutella or lotus biscoff spread, simply warm the biscoff spread and it becomes a glaze or like a ganache, spread some through the layers and top with either the nutella, lotus or chocolate ganache.
