For those of you who follow me on Facebook know that I found a new love and passion with juicing! I want my children drinking healthy juices, with out all the preservatives, sugar & colour! Juicing is best when first made so that your body absorbs all the nutrients it provides.
I have been experimenting with different recipes that I share on my fan page in an album named ‘juicy juice’.
My kids love fruit punch, and for years I have been giving them fruit punch that gave them a sugar high, rather than a natural healthy one that gives energy from natural juice.
Getting the kids to like homemade juice on the other hand was a challenge, they are so use the store bought….. they were sold when I made them this! Whoo hooo I was so happy that after all that effort they loved it!
To make 5 cups of fruit punch you will need:
- 1/2 of fresh pineapple
- 3 organic apples
- 5 oranges
- 1 large organic carrot
Peel and remove core from pineapple, remove core from apples, peel oranges and add all fruit (plus carrot) into the juicer, let the juice pour into a 5 cup measuring cup and stir when done, serve fresh. Enjoy:)
