Strawberry Pie

Mmmm mmm mmmm strawberry pie…so fresh and so delightful! Made with freshly picked berries that are so sweet, small and perfect for this pie! This is a simple pie to make, you can make it with homemade pie crust or store bought…you can even use tart shells. You can double the recipe if you want to make more than one pie.

  • 5 cups or 1 quart fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 – 85 g package of raspberry flavoured gelatin
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 baked and cooled pie shell
  • whipped cream


  1. Bake pie shell, allow to cool. Combine gelatin, cornstarch, sugar, and water in a small sauce pan, bring to a boil stirring constantly, allow to boil for a minute or two, till it becomes glossy. Cool for 10 minutes. Remove stems from strawberries, rinse and pat dry, add strawberries in the pie shell.
  2. Pour over the gelatin mixture. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Serve with freshly whipped cream. Enjoy!:)
